Dragona: Fireborne starts a fresh Open Alpha round
Every character resets on 6 November so new and returning players race from level 1 on equal terms
IndigoWare has opened a new round of the Open Alpha for Dragona: Fireborne, the free-to-play fantasy MMORPG on Steam. The full character reset takes place on Friday, 6 November 2026 at 21:00 BRT (00:00 UTC, 7 November), with the servers offline for about an hour, and every player, veteran or newcomer, starts again on equal terms.
The new round keeps the Open Alpha rates: double EXP and drops, eight times the gold, and level gifts as characters grow. A new Hall of Fame race starts with it, recording the first players to reach each milestone.
Characters and everything they own are reset. Accounts stay, and so does what players paid for: Cash bought on Steam, Premium days, the premium Battle Pass, Steam achievements and the Hall of Fame records of the first round. Cash spent on items removed by the reset is returned automatically.
Key features
- Dragon transformation: partial and full transformation into a dragon form unique to each class, in Magic, Rare and Unique grades.
- Four races, eight classes: Human (Gunner, Sniper), Kali (Guardian, Assassin), Eldin (Ranger, Magician), Catcha (Shaman, Scout).
- Guilds, PvP and Castle Siege: fight for your guild and rule Bartan's castles.
- Events every weekend: Happy Time, the Golden Bell quiz, the Puzzle Challenge, field invasions and the Battle of Celebration.
- Never short of a party: dungeon bots of any class fill your group, and never take your loot.
- Fair cosmetics: the Cash Shop sells only looks (outfits, pets, mounts); every mount has the same speed and no stats.
Dragona: Fireborne is free to play on Windows PC via Steam, in English, Portuguese (Brazil), Filipino, Traditional Chinese and Indonesian.
